As a founder of Intellexa Journal, she's the one who travels to the towns most reporters fly over. She covers the stories that aren't breaking news on cable channels, but are breaking ground in communities. Her career started in local news, which taught her that the biggest national issues almost always begin as small, personal problems.

Rebecca helped start this site because she was tired of seeing the human angle get lost. Her job here is straightforward: to find the people at the heart of the story and make sure their voices are heard, clearly and honestly.
