What the 'Intellexa Journal Staff' Byline Means
It's a Team Effort.
You might see some articles here credited to "Intellexa Journal Staff."
What does that mean?
Simply put: it means we worked on it together. It’s our byline for teamwork.
It’s not an anonymous placeholder or a way to hide who wrote a story. It’s the opposite. It’s us—the founders—telling you that a piece is the result of a group effort.
We use this byline for a few reasons:
- For big, complex stories that need more than one person to dig up the facts and put it all together.
- For breaking news when things are moving fast and our whole team is pitching in to get you the latest, most accurate information as it happens.
- For foundational guides and explainers that we build from our collective knowledge.
- When we work with a trusted freelancer on a story but edit it so heavily that it becomes a shared piece of work — in those cases, we take full responsibility for it as a team.
Does a "staff" story get less scrutiny?
Absolutely not. Every single article on Intellexa Journal, no matter the byline, gets the same tough review. It's fact-checked, edited, and has to meet our standards before we hit "publish."
When you see Intellexa Journal Staff, you’re seeing the work of Joseph, Rebecca, Rachel, and Jeffrey. It’s our collective promise to you that we stand behind the story.
